Snow Days

The snow is back. I have mixed feelings about this, but here are some photos that I took while it was snowing on Saturday.

Maybe you have to know the darkness before you can appreciate the light.

Of Darkness And Of Light

I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars.

There are darknesses in life and there are lights, and you are one of the lights.

There are different kinds of darkness. There is the darkness that frightens, the darkness that soothes, the darkness that is restful. It becomes what the bearer wishes it to be, needs it to be. It is not wholly bad or good.

Smile

Photography ISΒ writing with light, so I decided to take it a bit more literally. Lydia and I spent over an hour outside, playing around with the exposure length and positioning. I found out rather quickly that I cannot draw hearts very well with no reference point when it’s dark.

Anyway, that’s your Monochrome for the day.
